Just need a little patience....

The past few weeks, we have been really really busy and we have been working hard to ensure that everyone is able to get on the schedule and fly. We have added 2 new CFI's, Andrew K and Jason S and we brought back 63B and looking to add another 172 to help with the backlog of flights.

This has also been a crazy winter, with the rain, winds, TFR's and in between, we reach 80+ on most of the days. I still can't wrap my head around summer temps in Jan / Feb.... Great to be in Corona!

We are officially launching Wingfleet flying club with 2 aircraft. The monthly dues will be $99 and there will be a $199 refundable deposit to join. Club members will enjoy first priority scheduling and no daily minimums on the aircraft.

1. Beechcraft Debonair 32182, she will be equipped with a very nice Garmin 530 GPS and new audio panel next week. Cruises very nicely at 170 mph while burning 12 to 13 gph. Dry rate $99

2. Piper Twin Comanche, has a GPS, full IFR and will also cruise at 170mph while burning 13 gph. Dry rate $149

So, what has been happening in maintenanceland these days.....

61Q - was in for 100hr and is now back to fly some more
526 - was also in for 100hr and ready to fly
68U - is going strong
4DT - is scheduled for it's 100 hr starting on Friday
739 - is flying high
94M - is having fun with all the demo's to Catalina
63B - is enjoying all the attention being the new plane on the tarmac
17J - is still in for 100 hr inspection and should return on Friday
182 - is looking forward to the new avionics upgrade
0DA - had its inspection done this week and is once again training new multi engine students and lovin life!

Whew, that was a lot of maintenance updates. Speaking of updates, we are in the final approval stage of receiving our 141 certification and our INS approval to issue M-1 Visas. We will be requesting to add on the IFR and Commercial course early next week and hopefully the process will be quicker than this one.

One last piece of news, we will be having a farewell BBQ for CFI Will on March 10th, please come by and wish him luck (and eat some great food!) He will be missed, but luckily for us, he is staying in the area so you just may see him around the airport.

That's it and see you soon at the ranch!
