Pilots!
We are starting to finalize our plans to fly-out to Osh Kosh Airventure 2010! If you missed my earlier post, here's the current plan:
We are tentatively leaving on Saturday morning, July 24, returning Friday July 30, in a caravan of Bonanzas once more, staying at a rented private home which is across the street from the North 40.
It's Aviation Mecca.
Anyway, we are finalizing plans now -- last year's fuel split was appx $440, and covered 5+ hours of HP/Complex time, and of course, a week at Osh, a "real" cross-country flight, and that wicked amazing Osh Arrival NOTAM.
Drop me a line for details! It's not too late -- we're still formulating the plans and the planes. mike@flycorona.com if you'd like more info.
Some quick maintenance updates:
Cessna 630 isn't bugging anyone.
Cessna 68U is cruising just fine.
Cessna 739 will be in for a quick-turn 100hr tomorrow.
Cessna 17J has a new new new new.. (etc) Transponder.
Cessna 25R, I jinxed it last time. No comment. :)
Bonanza 11N has new tires and a new pilot-side PTT switch. We are still formulating the "Vee up" yoke switch, we want to get it right -- sorry for the delay.
Skylane 073 isn't bothering anyone.
Someone is trying to talk me into a Decathalon or an Aeronca Champ LSA again. Pesky taildragger pilots.
We are actively shopping for another 172 M, N, P, or R model.
That's all I know at the moment.
Blue Skies!
